Dining Out: Chicago Dog

22 May

While on a work trip to Chicago, I visited my friend Ashley and went on a quest for a tried and true Chicago style hot dog. After polling people for recommendations, we decided on Wiener’s Circle in Lincoln Park.

Yellow mustard, chopped onions, relish, pickles, tomatoes, peppers, celery salt…basically everything but the kitchen sink was on this hot dog and it was delicious. Oh yes, NO KETCHUP. It’s considered a sin.

If anyone has heard of Weiner’s Circle it is notorious for the sassy staff and drunk customers. Luckily, we only got a little sass that night.

Birthday Dinner at Felidia
